About

me a

Inspired by real life events and changes I’ve experienced, I compose my music in the form of my own personal diary. Recording consistently since 2005, I would say that I am a record junkie who captures everything from friend’s stories, every jam session I’ve been apart of, to people talking trash to me on the Playstation network. As a graphic designer in my professional career, I also enjoy designing my own album art. Unable to classify my music under any particular genre, I would describe it as mood evoking and easy to listen to while engaging in other activities.

Having a passion for film and theatre, I’ve welcomed any chance to expand my music to other realms of art.  In 2010, I was given the opportunity to perform the song, Playing in the Rain with the talents of musician Geoff Pope and lyricist Joey Paradox live at the 10 Minute Play Festival in Portland, OR.  You can find this track on my O vs X album under the music tab. This Production was organized by Ollie Collins with Monkey With A Hat. In 2011, we added producer | musician | lyricist Dylan Manley (Lil’, Ripples) for the scoring of the play, Moon and the Triangle. This was also a Monkey With A Hat On production and premiered the song Happiest Moment I’ve Haven’t Felt Yet from my album, Rootwalk.

I’ve always enjoyed collaborating with other people in music, film, or poetry readings. Please reach out to me if you would like to work together and keep checking DavidLanhamMusic.com for my latest updates and album releases. Thank you for listening.
